The TNUA Orchestra staged a performance – conducted by Prof. Fusao Kajima – at the National Concert Hall on May 14.

It was the fourth time that the TNUA orchestra has performed at the National Concert Hall.

The concert featured Brahms' "Concerto No.2 for Piano & Orchestra in B flat, Op.83"; Richard Strauss' "Don Juan, Op. 20" and "Suite from Der Rosenkavalier"; and a work Prof. Ming-Hsiu Yen composed specifically for the concert.

The concert also presented famous pianist Eugen Indjic, who has a six-decade music career. He has won prizes at three international contests – Warsaw (1970), Leeds (1972), and Rubinstein Tel Aviv (1974).

Prof. Kajima has been teaching at TNUA since 2014.

Prof. Yen said her new work, which at the concert, was inspired by the sight of the new-born buffalo on TNUA's campus. She dedicated the piece the TNUA orchestra.

The concert was sponsored by TSUNG Cho-Chang Education Foundation.
