Educational Services

Each year TNUA admits a number of international students to either degree programs or short-term studies on both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Applicants should have basic proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, which is the chief medium of instruction at TNUA.

Scholarships are available to international students with outstanding academic performances.

Students may choose to live in campus dormitories. Accommodation fees range from NT$8,125 to NT$26,000 (roughly US$270 to US$866) each semester (for the 2015 Academic Year), and accommodation fees during summer vacation range from NT$4,063 to NT$5,500 .

The dormitory rooms are well furnished and air-conditioned with telephones and Internet access. Public facilities include gyms, social rooms, study rooms, laundry rooms and kitchens.

If students choose to live outside the campus, rents in the school’s neighborhood may be between NT$6,000 to NT$10,000 per month depending on the size and condition of the room or apartment.

In general, living expenses in Taiwan range from NT$10,000 to NT$15,000 per month.

The application period for international students is usually from February through April for admission in the academic year that begins in September.
