國立臺北藝術大學對於香港康文署要求刪除演出場刊中製作團隊簡歷 本校畢業校友所列校名之「國立」兩字發表書面回應說明

對於本事件康文署之處理方式，本校甚表遺憾。
有關康文署之要求，本校予以誠正呼籲，應充分尊重「國立臺北藝術大學」以「國立」兩字存在之事實，以及本校與全球各大學交流往來之校名全名使用之學術定位。
康文署逕自要求刪除本校校名「國立」兩字，顯不合理，亦不洽當，特予嚴正抗議，希望本次事件係屬不適當之個案處理，籲請未來應避免再次發生類此事件。

Taipei National University of the Arts' statement in response to the Hong Kong Leisure and Cultural Services Department's demand that the word "National" be deleted from the University's official name that one of its alumnae wanted to appear in her resume in a program that introduced the production team of a stage performance.
The University is deeply disappointed by the way the Leisure and Cultural Services Department handled the incident.
With regard to the Leisure and Cultural Services Department's demand, the University earnestly hope that the integrity of its official name can be respected. It is an undeniable fact that the word "National" is an inseparable part of the official name "Taipei National University of the Arts," which defines our existence and academic position, and with which we conduct international exchange with other universities around the world.
The Leisure and Cultural Services Department's demand of deleting the word "National" from our official name was clearly unreasonable and improper, which we sternly protest. We hope this improper and unreasonable demand was only an isolated incident, and urge that such incidents never occur again.
